SUSTEX promotes the substitution of hazardous chemical
products in the textile finishing industry
SUSTEX is a national project promoted by Catalan technical textiles’ cluster (AEI Tèxtils) and LEITAT Technological Center. Its aim is to provide tools and knowledge to promote the substitution of hazardous chemical products in the Catalan textile industry in order to incorporate environmental criteria in the manufacturing of its products, through an in-depth study of the current situation in Catalonia.
The project is co-funded by the Waste Agency of Catalonia and was performed from January 2020 to February 2022.
