AEI Tèxtils took part in ITMA 2023, the world’s leading trade fair for textile technology, equipment and solutions held in Milan from June 8th to 14th.
The cluster had its own booth to welcome companies and organizations from all over the world who came to learn on first-hand about its activity, to network and to share experiences.
The cluster members: Pages Valentí, Tanatex Chemicals, ANTEX and EURECAT participated at the exhibition with their own booth.
Several members of AEI Tèxtils attended the exhibition and visited the cluster’s booth.
AEI Tèxtils also hosted the visit of large group of students of Textile Technology and Design Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) as part of a learning tour.
During ITMA, AEI Tèxtils highlighted several of its ongoing projects, such as In Transit, HiTechTex or xBUILD-EU, among others; where several partners of those projects visited the cluster team.
During the seven days of the trade fair, AEI Tèxtils facilitated several activities to promote networking among its members, offering a space for meetings, organizing learning visits to other booths and hosting two informal networking cocktails to boost interaction among members of the cluster and with other national and international companies and organizations.
The cluster team participated in several tours organized by the European Textile Technology Platform (ETP), in which AEI Tèxtils is member of and with whom shared resources during the exhibition (as both they were located in the neighboring booth).
On July 19th, the cluster will organize a dedicated webinar “Panorama ITMA 2023” to present the main trends and innovations that were featured during this edition of the exhibition as an exclusive service for its members.
AEI Tèxtils supports the internationalization of its members through different projects, offering high added value services such as market studies and the organization of exploratory missions with personalized agendas. The calendar of next activities for the cluster includes missions to Canada in November 2023 and Japan in March 2024 and the participation in the Techtextil Frankfurt trade fair in 2024 with a joint both with its members.
