Tèxtils.CAT has started Sustaintex project. It is co-funded by the Erasmus+ program and it focuses on international cooperation for education and training. Its main objective is the promotion of sustainable economic models in the textile sector.
The project aims to generate an accessible and achievable roadmap for the application of the circular economy and eco-design through the development of an open virtual course on these topics, compile a set of sustainable business models applied to the textile industry and conduct a course for trainers of this industry from both the academic and business fields.
The consortium is made up of 6 partners coming from 5 countries, including universities, technology centers and entities linked to the European textile sector: University of Bogazici (Turkey) as coordinator, ENVIPARK (Italy), Cre.Thi.Dev. (Greece), Genista Research Foundation (Malta), EREB SRL (Italy) and Tèxtils.CAT.
Tèxtils.CAT continues to bet on initiatives that consolidate and spread production models that generate the least possible impact on the environment, maintaining business competitiveness and providing them with this added value.
