SUSTAINTEX aims to create a roadmap for the application of the circular economy and eco-design in the textile sector.

The consortium seeks to facilitate the path on the adoption of sustainable business models applied to the textile industry sector through initiatives such as the development of an online open virtual course on circular economy and sustainable textiles, the production of sustainable business models for the textile industry collected in an electronic book, and the execution of an intensive course targeted on the trainers in the sector of both academic and industrial field.

To achieve these goals, the consortium is made up of members from both industry and higher education, and is coordinated by the University of Bogazici, Turkey.
