This week, the project GALACTICA, led by AEI Tèxtils, has released the video of the 2nd hackathon final held on December 1st in Terrassa. GALACTICA aims at promoting innovation across the aerospace, textile and advanced manufacturing sectors.
AEI Tèxtils, as coordinator of GALACTICA, hosted the 2nd GALACTICA Hackathon welcoming the 9 finalist teams and the 5 jury members, all coming from different European countries. All the teams had 24h to develop an innovative business model of their ideas combining textile, aerospace and advanced manufacturing presented in the first round virtually. The hackathon awarded 45.000€ in prizes.

GALACTICA upcoming activities
AEI Tèxtils is preparing upcoming GALACTICA activities including the launch of the second call for proposals planned for mid-January and the organization of the info-day and matchmaking on February 10th in Brussels.
The info-day aims to bring together companies to establish synergies and prepare consortia to apply in the 2nd call. You can already register for the info-day and apply for a travel voucher to attend. The second call will have 1.64M€ for funding Orbital Projects and Pioneer Acceleration projects.
