AEI Tèxtils held its bimonthly members’ meeting virtually, on 6th October.
During the meeting, Ariadna Detrell, Cluster Manager, introduced the new staff of the team to the cluster members.
Then, Marta Casadesús, Project Manager, presented the state of the art report on ecological fibers, developed internally. The report will be available for its members. It contains detailed information on natural fibers, man-made fibers from natural polymers (based on carbohydrates and on proteins), man-made fibers from other renewal resources and man-made fibers from recycled polymers.
Next, the Cluster Manager presented the implementation status of the communication plan that the organization defined in the beginning of the pandemic. She highlighted the launch of the video dedicated to explain how its members took action to respond to the health system needs during the sanitary crisis; the update of the cluster leaflet and the personalization of its own face masks, made by the member ARPE.
Finally, she reviewed the activities that AEI Tèxtils has planned for the current quarter, such as the preparation of new proposals for internationalization projects, interviews with cluster members to elaborate the Report to promote Circular Economy in the technical textiles’ sector or the organization of B2B meetings through the ClusterXChange programme within CLAMTEX project, among others.
