Success stories of European SMEs in the advanced textile materials’ sector

03/05/2021

Two success stories of AEI Tèxtils’ members, related to sustainability, have been published in the second issue of EU-TEXTILE2030 newsletter: ETISILK and Hilaturas Arnau.

ETISILK, manufacturer of fabrics for outdoor applications, presents a project in which it uses its generated fabric waste and other discarded waste to produce baby products, specifically playmats.

Hilaturas Arnau, a spinning mill, presents, amongst others, its new product portfolio including natural vegan yarns, mixing different natural and biodegradable fibers: bamboo, corn, hemp, kapok, tencel, etc.

The newsletter contains, in total, 12 stories from companies’ members of the clusters that are part of EU-TEXTILE2030.

This is the second issue of the newsletter. The first one was launched in September last year, also containing 12 stories, in that case focused on fighting Covid-19.

With this newsletter, EU-TEXTILE2030, a European Economic Interest Grouping which brings together main European clusters on advanced textile materials, aims to highlight the importance and the added value of these products, manufactured in Europe.
