In January, the project New plastic product made from textile industry wastes started. It aims to introduce plastic products made from polypropylene pellets recovered from textile industry wastes.
The project is carried out by the companies LIASA and NGPLASTICS, members of AEI Tèxtils and the Packaging Cluster, respectively. Both clusters will collaborate on the project, which is co-financed by the Waste Agency of Catalonia.
On January 23, the two companies and the clusters met at the headquarters of LIASA, in La Selva del Camp, to specify the work plan of the project, which will last for a year.
