On 25 May, AEI Tèxtils attended the presentation of the European project CircE, in which Catalonia participates.
The project, funded by the European program Interreg aims to identify opportunities and barriers to implement instruments and policies for green and circular economy a. Catalonia will work in two specific sectors: textiles and beverages. The results to be obtained are:
- detecting opportunities resulting from the development of technical projects for the improvement of circular economy applied to selected sectors for each region (exchange inter-regional),
- analysis of the barriers to implement these projects,
- identification of sectoral policies and specific technical projects for improvement that can be implemented by the administration to accelerate the transition of each sector to the circular economy, and
- the awareness of the circular economy in companies, business organizations and other stakeholders.
