On June 21, AEI Tèxtils participated in a meeting of textile industry stakeholders within the European project CirCE, organized by the Department of Territory and Sustainability of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
This project aims to identify opportunities and barriers to the application of circular economy measures in different economic sectors and propose instruments and policies that contribute to boost them.
At the meeting, the company AD Market presented a study carried out in the framework of the project which identifies 7 opportunities for circular economy and the corresponding barriers to its deployment in the sector. The working session, with representatives of the different agents involved in the textile sector, was aimed at pooling the opportunities detected and analyzing together the different degree of priority of the opportunities identified.
