On June 5th, the final event of MIDWOR-LIFE, led by AEI Tèxtils, gathered 36 stakeholders in the field of substitution of per- and poly-fluorinated substances in the textile industry, in Brussels with broad high profile representation including the European Commission, textile industry representatives, chemical producers and research centers across Europe.
The project will end on August 30, after 3 years dedicated to analyzing the current DWOR (Durable Water and Oil Repellents) used in textile finishing processes and their more sustainable alternatives, both in terms of technical performance and risks for people and the environment.
