AEI Tèxtils, together with TEXFOR, organized a Strategic dive of the Catalan technical textiles sector, within the project Strengthening the competitiveness of the Catalan technical textiles cluster, cofunded by ACCIÓ, on 24th and 25th November in Terrassa.
The event, with more than 40 participants, included 3 round tables in which 3 members of AEI Tèxtils took part: the companies Crevin, S.A. and La Industrial Algodonera, S.A. and LEITAT Technological Center.
Four European technical textiles clusters: TECHTERA (France), CLUTEX (Czech Republic), NWTEXNET (UK) and POINTEX (Italy) presented their organizations and exposed their vision of international cooperation.
The international participation also included a conference by Braz Costa, Vice-President of the European Technology Platform for the Future of Textiles and Clothing, who presented the main opportunities related to R&D+i for textile companies.
