MIDWOR-LIFE, project has achieved on of its major milestones, with the first industrial demonstration of alternative DWORs (Durable Water and Oil Repellents) at Tintoria Finissaggio 2000 (TF2000) manufacturing plant in Italy.
TF2000 is one of the 6 textile finishing companies that collaborate with the MIDWOR-LIFE project on the industrial validation of safer and environmentally friendlier DWOR products.
The cluster team has visited the member Arpe, leading manufacturer of microfibre personalized promotional products.
The cluster met with a representative from the Barcelona Québec Office (Gouvernement du Québec) and a representative from Montréal International.
The cluster visited the textile facilities at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Terrassa, within an open meeting to present the educational offer and business collaboration opportunities to the Catalan textile ecosystem.
