CONTEXT, led by AEI Tèxtils, has launched a new call for proposals for travel grants to promote the exchange of researchers through Short Term Scientific Missions (STSMs).
The call will be open until October 25th. Researchers from universities, technological centers or companies can apply to visit an organization from another country with the aim to learn new techniques, gain access to specific data, instruments or methods not available in their own institutions/organisations. Duration of the visits is from 5 to 90 days.
The mission should take place between November 2020 and January 2021. The selected application will receive a grant up to 2.000 €.
Since its start in October 2018, twelve researchers were awarded STSMs grants by CONTEXT. They travelled to organizations in North Macedonia, Germany, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Serbia, Portugal, Italy, Czech Republic, Croatia and Cyprus, to carry out studies related to textile materials for construction, personal protection, sports and for automotive and aeronautics.
