Tèxtils.CAT will participate at Techtextil (Frankfurt), the world’s leading exhibition for the sector, from April 21 to 24, with 24 members. This is the largest delegation the cluster has assembled since its first participation in 2009, consolidating Techtextil as the leading international event for the Catalan advanced textile materials sector.
This activity, one of the cluster’s key internationalisation initiatives, showcases its members’ competitiveness in the global market, facilitating access to strategic markets and fostering collaborative innovation.
In this edition, Tèxtils.CAT presents its largest delegation to date, with a total of 24 members reflecting the vitality of the sector in Catalonia. Twelve of these members will exhibit under a shared identity at the cluster’s joint booth (Hall 12.1, D39), a formula that allows cost-sharing and increased visibility. The other twelve members will attend with their own booth, distributed across different halls of the exhibition.
With the aim of maximizing business opportunities, Tèxtils.CAT has prepared an active agenda of networking activities and personalized tours for its members. These initiatives are designed to connect the Catalan ecosystem with its international strategic partners, strengthening ties and boosting collaborative innovation.
The 2026 edition also marks a milestone for the cluster and the sector in Catalonia: Ariadna Detrell, director of Tèxtils.CAT, joins the Techtextil Advisory Board, the body that advises Messe Frankfurt on the strategic direction of the exhibition. With this appointment, Tèxtils.CAT becomes the first Spanish entity represented on this committee, which consists of sixteen members mainly from Germany, Belgium, France, Austria, and Italy. The cluster places Catalonia’s advanced textile materials sector on a par with the leading European hubs.
