IRC ACCIÓ: Strengthening the competitiveness of the Catalan technical textiles cluster

Participation of Tèxtils.CAT: Coordinator, in collaboration with TEXFOR

End date: June 2016

Objectives:

The project aims to strengthen the competitiveness of Catalan companies in the sector of technical textiles, with special emphasis on its international positioning in several areas: commercial, technological partnerships, fostering innovation etc.

The main activities are part of the project are:

  • participation in the technical textiles convention CITEXT(27-28 April’16, Troyes, France)
  • organization of a post- ITMA conference (16 December’15, Barcelona)
  • organization of a strategic immersion seminar (24-25 November’15, Terrassa)
  • drawing up a map of the sector capacities in Catalonia (January-June’16)
