AEI Tèxtils,, has been recognized with the GOLD Label on cluster management excellence.
The European Cluster Excellence Initiative (ECEI) GOLD Label is awarded to cluster management organisations that demonstrate a high level of professionalism and sophisticated cluster management.
Cluster organisations holding a GOLD Label show their documented commitment towards a continuous improvement of their organisational structures and routines for the benefit of an even higher performance. Out of more than 3.000 clusters reported in Europe only 62 currently hold a valid GOLD Label.
AEI Tèxtils obtained a 92% score during the audit, which demonstrates the strong commitment of the organization to position the Catalan sector of advanced textile materials at the forefront of European innovation, facilitating innovative practices that boosts its competitiveness, projection and international visibility.
Currently, AEI Tèxtils comprises a team of 7 collaborators with diverse professional profiles complementing their experience in advanced textile materials, on developing innovating activities, managing projects or on strategic reorientation processes:
- Ariadna Detrell, PhD in Industrial Organization, as Cluster Manager
- Josep Casamada, MSc in Chemical Engineering and MSc in Innovation Management, as Responsible of Projects’ Management.
- Àlex Blay, Industrial Engineer and International MBA, as Project Manager for business development.
- Marta Casadesús, PhD in Textile Engineering, as Project Manager in sustainability and textile technology.
- Ivana Unkovic, PhD holder and University Professor of Interdisciplinary Study in Social Sciences and Humanities, as Project Manager for innovation.
- David Gómez, Degree on Political Science and Public Management, as Corporate Development responsible.
- Àlex Gascón, Graduate in Journalism and Master in Corporate Communication, as Communications Officer.
