From March 24 to 26, we took part in the TEXBREIN project learning expedition, organized by CITEVE, in Vilanova de Famalicão. The cluster delegation included three cluster members: Finsa-Job Group, Prebus, and Alsico Iberia.
The main goals of this learning expedition are to understand how the Norte textile ecosystem is structured and how sustainability and circularity policies are implemented. This includes learning about circular economy, in particular textile recycling models, and exploring best practices.
Furthermore, the mission allows our delegation to know the most recent developments on textile materials and products with circularity and bioeconomy credentials, while discussing potential collaborations with organizations from the Portuguese textile sector.
These international missions are essential to discover advanced ecosystems, exchange technical knowledge, and generate industrial synergies. By engaging directly with global leaders, we foster the innovation and partnerships necessary to strengthen the competitiveness of our cluster and its members.
